Car cabins are becoming increasingly quieter to improve driving comfort. But what design and engineering goes into isolating outside noise seeping inside?
As part of my placement at CarExpert in 2020, I pitched, researched and wrote an original feature story with a turnaround of seven days.
It focuses on an oft-forgotten aspect of the automotive industry: noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) by exploring the techniques and technologies being used in cars today to ultimately ensure a comfortable cabin.
The feature was one of the best-received pieces published during my placement at CarExpert.
