Indooroopilly Shopping Centre is now Brisbane’s biggest public electric vehicle charging location with the opening of two new Evie Networks fast chargers on Saturday.
As part of my work for zecar, I pitched, photographed, interviewed and wrote an original news story with a turnaround of less than 72 hours.
Due to the opening of nine V3 250kW Tesla Superchargers on September 30 and two 50kW Evie Networks chargers on October 8 within Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, it was an opportunity to produce an original, bespoke and meaningful hyperlocal news piece that isn’t often seen in the automotive media industry.
The story production process included going to the location, conducting local interviews (scheduled call and vox pop), and capturing original photography. It was was shared by Evie Networks on social media, the feature image was pinned by Evie on Plugshare, and reproduced by the local Brisbane Suburbs Online News publication.
